Will I See you in Heaven?

Are you planning on going to heaven? Do you think we all go? Have you given it much thought? Do you really care? Or are you content with the thought that you could go to hell?

If you fall into the category of being content with hell, read our FAQ about what hell is like. But if you are hoping for and looking forward to going to heaven, here’s a few thoughts to ponder.

First of all, God gives us the gift of Heaven and we earn our place in hell.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Secondly, it’s your choice.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life…” Deuteronomy 30:19

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life.” John 5:24

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him." John 3:36

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Lastly, God loves you and wants you to be with Him.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
