Out with the old, in with the new

Updated: Jan 4, 2019

Christmas is right around the corner and just shortly thereafter the New Year will strike again. I've been eating over and above since Halloween candy was brought into the house. I'm not sure how one pound of candy can pack on 10 pounds around my middle, but it does, and when you add on Thanksgiving, Christmas cookies and New Year appetizers I'm sure to feel out of shape, out of sorts and out of time. Does it work that way for you too? Are you looking forward to another chance to start over?

Well, watching what you feed yourself, taking control and having a new time frame to work in will certainly reward you with an improved body, but what about you spiritually? Have you allowed yourself to become spiritually flabby? Maybe you are feeling out of sorts because you aren't walking with the Lord the way you know you should be and so you say to yourself that it's been too long ago. Listen, it's never too soon or too late to start exercising with the Lord. Walking with Him everyday.

Tired of being flabby? How about joining us for our Average Guy Bible Study? We do it, virtually, on line, so it doesn't matter where you are or when you have the time, you can always participate. The study continues for a year and we cover twelve scripture verses that will challenge you to get in shape, walk with the Lord and give you a whole new perspective on time.

One Thing

How do you walk? One step at a time? How do you speak? One word at a time? How do you change? One thought at a time? One process at a time? So many of us get so overwhelmed by trying to do everything
