So many of us got really excited about the eclipse. We went way out of the way to ask, seek, and knock on many doors to find out all we could about the process, the preparation, and the right place to be so that we didn't miss our chance to be included in this great event.
It's time to do the same reagarding the return of Jesus. Looking back at the celebration of Easter many believe that Jesus came to earth, lived among us, died on the cross, and either went back to heaven or is dead, leaving us here to make the best of things. However, Jesus, tells us in scripture, that He'll be back.
The gospel of Matthew chapter 24 documents the conversation Jesus had with His disciples regarding His return and it is worth the read. In this reading, Jesus tells us the process, the preparation, and the right place to be so that we can be included in this great event.
Just like the eclipse, the time will arrive and proceed forward leaving those who weren't ready missing out.
Don't miss out. It is why Jesus came to earth, lived among us, died on the cross, and went back to heaven to prepare a place for us. So prepare yourself to meet Him. It will either be because He comes back or because you leave this life and stand face to face with Him.

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
