Where Will You Be Forever??

Are you planning on going to heaven? Do you think we all go? Have you given it much thought? Do you really care? Or are you content with the thought that you could go to hell? (Please read until the end)

If you fall into the category of being content with hell, here’s something to think about.

Is heaven real? Is God real? Jesus?

Is the Bible really God's word to us through the Holy Spirit's inspiration in writing and understanding?

If your answer to all these questions is yes, then the answer to the main question posed is yes as well.

You see, nobody has come back from either place and given us a run down. However, Jesus came here from His place in heaven and gave us testimony to their existence.

Basically, satan, hell and what hell is like are the exact opposites of what God, Heaven and Heaven is like.

Heaven is where God is and hell is where He is not. Heaven is light because God is light, therefore, hell is darkness. God wipes away every tear and is not there in hell to do the same. Heaven is community and unified worship which leaves hell as a place of solitude.

So given these thoughts hell is a place of darkness, solitude, and no consolation. Which makes sense because those who didn’t choose God over self are given a place where the solitude of living without God is theirs for eternity.

But if you are hoping for and looking forward to going to heaven, here’s a few thoughts to ponder.

First of all, God gives us the gift of Heaven and we earn our place in hell.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Secondly, it’s your choice.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life…” Deuteronomy 30:19

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life.” John 5:24

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him." John 3:36

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Lastly, God loves you and wants you to be with Him.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

God loves you and gives you your everyday to choose what your future will be. Don’t let this understanding and decision slip by.

Your forever is at stake.
